 NESC offers Demo fleet and boat try outs by appointment, and seasonal demonstration days. We have demo kayaks and canoes available for you to paddle. This is the best way to really figure out what you like, want, and need in a boat. Our demos are small and personal, and you will be accompanied by one of our staff who have all paddled the boats you will be trying.

We schedule weekly free demonstration days each season. These demo days have lots of boats and gear to try, and sales staff present to help answer any questions and guide you towards the right boat. Please call, or email our shop for details and times, and we do list these events on the website with details as we get them.

Demo paddles available from Werner.  We arrange these demos by appointment, and you are able to take the paddle and use it for several days. We do require a deposit, which is returned when the paddle is returned in reasonable condition (in other words, you break it, you buy it).

We offer repair services for kayaks and canoes on an appointment basis. Gel coat repair and refinishing, rudder and skeg repair, structural repairs and modifications are some typical services we routinely provide.  Labor is charged on an hourly basis, and we will give an estimate for labor and parts before any work is done. We also provide referrals for work we are not equipped to do, such as major dry suit repair or paddle rebuilds and modifications.
